Chemistry at Appalachian
The Department of Chemistry and Fermentation Sciences offers one Bachelor of Arts degree and nine Bachelor of Science degrees including eight concentration options, including a secondary education concentration with teaching licensure.

Minor, Certificate and Honors
The department also offers a Chemistry minor, a Forensic Science certificate and Honors program, which is one component of the inter-disciplinary Environmental Science degree. Currently, there is no graduate degree in chemistry, but the department does offer graduate-level courses in support of graduate programs in other departments.
